Sony is releasing a gray camo PS5 to make you laugh at the thought of not having to see your PS5 ...

Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that new gray camouflage versions of the DualSense wireless controller, PlayStation 5 console covers, and Pulse 3D wireless headset would be released this fall. Rather than serving as a template for making jokes about how you can't find your DualSense controller (because it's camouflaged, you see).

The gray camouflage console covers provide an enjoyable way to slap on your spouse, partner, or roommate something like, "Dont worry, youll never have to see that ugly PS5 again." This is in reference to the camouflaged design, which would only work in practice if you were, say, hunting deer in the woods while playing your PlayStation 5.

Sony's Gray Camouflage Collection for PS5 will launch on October 15. The DualSense controller and PS5 console covers will launch sometime in December. However, colored DualSense controllers cost $74.99, an increase of $54.99. Existing models of the Pulse 3D wireless headset cost $99.99.

If you see these images close up, you'll see them all! Haha.

The Gray Camouflage collection follows a similar trend of PlayStation 4 releases. During the console's life cycle, Sony released DualShock 4 controllers in at least four camouflage colors: green, blue, red, and gray.

In January, Sony began selling colored console covers for the PS5 allowing current-gen console owners to select from Midnight Black, Cosmic Red, Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, and Galactic Purple.
