Quill asks Thor for an assist on a planet that was intended to be a relaxation location. It turns out to be an all-out war. Waititi got far enough in this sequence to have practical battle effects popping off every which way, yet have an unfinished Korg bumbling in the background. It would have been more of the darker darkly comedic parts in Marvel Cinematic Universe history.

Thor: Love and Thunder will be available on Disney Plus on Thursday (with a digital release scheduled for September 8), but the Blu-ray includes deleted scenes as well as other exclusive extras. The disc will be released on September 27.
