James Bond is the most well-known name in the Ian Fleming novels that have been turned on-screen productions. Even if you haven't seen any films centered on the deadly British spy, you'll probably recognize this one. No one has heard it more times than the men featured in the upcoming Reservoir Docs feature The Other Fellow.
Each of the four participants in the Matthew Bauer-directed documentary talks about the impact that sharing a name with the iconic character has had on them. We also hear from a 87-year-old Austin, Texas resident who admitted to never caring for the films, as well as a minister who was in the seventh grade when the first Bond film, Dr. No, was released today.
Bauer's latest film, which is self-proclaimed Bond fan and filmmaker, will take viewers around the globe while bringing the men's lives to life in unexpected ways. He adds that not only do their names bind them to the world of the British alpha-male spy, but they connect them together in ways youd never anticipate.
Sean Connery, David Niven, George Lazenby, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, and Daniel Craig have all acted in the film adaptation of The Other Fellow, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.
The Other Fellow hasnt set a release date as yet. Check out the trailer below.
