Two new clips from Disney's live-action Pinocchio remake have been released, the first of which depicts a fun-loving interaction between Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket, played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. While the clip recreates the original film, the Blue Fairy, who saw Pinocchio's lies in the animated version, is absent.

Cynthia Erivo (Harriet) portrays the Blue Fairy as Pinocchio's conscience in this second clip, which also raises some humorous questions about Jiminy Cricket's (Tom Hanks) intentions for logging into Gepetto's (Tom Hanks) house.

The original animated Pinocchio, released in 1940, remains one of Disney's most critically acclaimed films, often credited for its groundbreaking animation and engaging narrative. Many have hoped that a Pinocchio adaptation might soon be released on Disney+, similar to the Lady and the Tramp remake from 2019.

Peter Pan & Wendy is expected to launch on Disney+ on an unannounced date. Snow White, directed by Rachel Zegler (West Side Story) and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), is also set to be released on an undetermined date.

On September 8, Pinocchio will be available on Disney+. Check out the two official clips from the upcoming film below:
