Jon-Paul Bell, a guest star on Coronation Street, has once again changed his soap allegiances and joined Hollyoaks.

Bell has previously appeared in Emmerdale as Austin Ascot and Doctors as PC Tony Milne/Liam Bright.

Beau, the newcomer to Hollyoaks, according to The Sun.

"Working on Hollyoaks has been an incredible journey, and I'm so honoured to be a part of the dedicated, creative, and hardworking team," he said ahead of his first appearance.

"I'm so excited for viewers to meet Beau and follow him on his exciting new journey into the village where he will surely stir many well-known figures along the way."

Bell will next appear as Sgt. John Burgin in the Apple TV+ miniseries Masters of the Air produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg.

The project follows up to Band of Brothers and The Pacific, chronicles real-life US bomber crews who fought Adolf Hitler and his Nazi regime.

Cary Joji Fukunaga (No Time to Die), Tim Van Patten (The Sopranos), Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck (Captain Marvel), and Dee Rees (Mudbound) are all down as episode directors, which makes for some shocking entertainment.

Hollyoaks is available first on All 4, with new episodes arriving every weekday morning. The program airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
