Original article [Wed 7th Sep, 2022 01:05 BST]: Sonic Frontiers sounds familiar, but what about the music? Sega has today revealed that the game's final theme song will be 'Vandalize,' the latest song from rock band One Ok Rock.

This new Sonic song is described as a "collaborative effort" between Sega and One Ok Rock, reflecting the "vast gameplay environment" as well as the high-speed action players can expect from Sonic Frontiers when it comes later this year.

Taka, the band's lead vocalist, has shared some of the song's key vocal lines.

Sonic Frontiers was created by SEGA because we connect to Sonic and how he has impacted the world since he got his start in Japan. We are based in the United States and have performed in Europe, Asia, and South America, so we are extremely excited to be able to collaborate with Sonic.

Vandalize, a collaboration song, is uplifting and has some Japanese-influenced vocals while also sounding like a ONE OK ROCK song. It also compliments Sonic's coolness when he's running, so please enjoy Vandalize while Sonic travels across Sonic Frontiers.

One Ok Rock has released the whole track via its YouTube channel if you want to hear more than a sample.

Sonic's new open-zone adventure will be released on Switch and other platforms on November 8th. What do you think of this ending song? Leave a comment below.
