At its inception, Disney Dreamlight Valley posed a pleasant, heartfelt assessment of the life simulation genre, although some reviewers complained that the game was not well optimized for Switch. There have been numerous reports of issues with this version of the game since its release.
Gameloft, the developer of this Disney adaptation of Animal Crossing, has been taking note of the issues. Over the past few days on Twitter, the studio has revealed some bugs that have been identified as well as some changes that have been made since the game's release earlier this week (thanks, GoNintendo!).
Gameloft has managed to resolve an issue with the Founder's Pack, which was not displayed in the player's mailbox. Previously, name filtering was hindering some players from using their names in the game, but now there's a promise to enable players to change their names.
Gameloft is hoping to receive updates soon for these issues.
Given the nature of the game and its current Early Access release, Gameloft promises to continue to support Disney Dreamlight Valley for a long time to come. You can find out what you'll receive in each of the Founder's Packs below.
