Rosario Dawson Discusses Claire Temple's Unfinished Business And Discusses Daredevil: Born Again's J ...

Charlie Cox and Vincent DOnofrio have both been confirmed for Disney+'s Daredevil: Born Again, which also starred as Kingpin in Hawkeye. However, their former co-star, Rosario Dawson, said she has unfinished business with her character Claire Temple while weighing in on the upcoming show.

Rosario Dawsons Claire Temple was a major character in Netflix's Marvel content catalog. Dawsons did play the ex-night-shift nurse in all but one of the interconnected television series Daredevil: Born Again. Her desire to reprise the role appears to be partially fueled by the nature of her last appearance:

So what is the point of that last Luke Cage tell Claire to go home moment? You know it's terrible. So yeah, I'm super curious, but im just so stoked for everyone. All of our shows are now part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Charlie [Cox] and Vincent [DOnofrio] joining the different projects now.

Claire was last seen during the second season of Luke Cage, during which she was engaged in a romance with the titular hero before things deteriorated between the two. In the last moments of the series finale, Luke (whod proclaimed himself the Sheriff of Harlem) requested that an unseen Claire be barred from entering the Harlems Paradise nightclub. It's understandable that the Clerks III actress would tell THR that she's looking for more.

While the above is irrelevant, Marvel Studios has yet to state whether or not Netflix's shows are officially MCU canon. Sure, Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk have already appeared, but the two characters may very well be variations of those viewers first encountered several years ago. However, Kevin Feige and co. may be able to include some version of Rosario Dawsons role into the proceedings.

Daredevil looks to have a bright future at Disney+, and fans should be enthused. Born Again is the most popular MCU series to date, with the Man Without Fear guest staring on She-Hulk. The show's executive writer, Jessica Gao, has confirmed that the show will feature a lighter version of Charlie Cox's hero.

At this point, casting details for the new DD episode are sparse, but I am hopeful that the producers will give Rosario Dawson (and some of her other colleagues) a call. Her Night Nurse would make a great addition to the MCU, and there are many ways that the writers might assist her in getting over that unfinished business.

As part of Phase 5, Daredevil: Born Again is scheduled to be released in early 2024. While you wait for further updates, you may now watch the original series via a Disney+ subscription.
