The Trailer For Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery Is Here And Filled With Big Stars And Cool Shots ...

Investigative procedurals may be popular on television, but there arent nearly enough feature-length whodunits. After seeing the first trailer for Knives Out 2, excuse me, I'm taking away the same message. Im ready to jump in, put on a wild Daniel Craig accent, and begin interviewing suspects right now.

And there are plenty of suspects again this time, and for all of us, these are played by a ton of great actors, including Edward Norton, Kathryn Hahn, Dave Bautista, and others. I'm just gonna keep rolling down this cast: Leslie Odom Jr, Janelle Monae, Jessica Henwick, and others. I can't wait for each of them to deliver a lights out interrogation moment.

I can't wait for Rian Johnson to create a slew of incredible photographs. Part of the reason why I think Knives Out was so successful with viewers the first time around is because he is so thoughtful with his visuals, camera angles, and the overall visual appeal of the films he makes. And there are a ton of signs to that in the teaser. There's a lot going on with shadows.

I still do not know how the film will unfold, but to me, it's a big plus in a black box. He even said that some people may want to keep scrolling to get the next movie that's completely fresh. Because of that, I was a little nervous when I pushed play, but given how little actual information we got, I don't regret my decision.

Netlix, which is reportedly not remorseful of their decision, has paid a reported $400 million for the rights to Knives Out 2 and Knives Out 3, following the first film, which was a huge success for Lionsgate. Given this trailer and the star power involved, there is no reason to expect the sequel to connect with even more people.
