The summer season may be over, but that doesn't mean that 2022 will be done filming blockbusters, including one that was originally scheduled to premiere in a few months, will be done. As we see in the latest teaser for the film, the Justice Society's first big screen adaptation is now revealed, and while doing so it gives us a first look at Sabbac's demon deity.

This new spot follows up the preview of Black Adam from San Diego Comic-Con, focusing on Dwayne Johnsons titular character who discusses how his son was sacrificed for him, but after that the focus switches over to Hawkman (Aldis Hodge), Cyclone (Quintessa Swindell) and Atom Smasher (Noah Centineo). Viola Davis Amanda Waller returns after her supporting role in James Gunns The Suicide Squad last year.

The Justice Society will be released for the first time on screen, and the tardiness is somewhat ironic considering that they were the first superhero team to be created in comics. In this preview, Hawkman wields his mace, Dr. Fate shows off some magic abilities, and Cyclone shows off some storm skills. The members' individual relationships with Black Adam are interesting, although they were prepared to go ahead and say that they wont have the same sort of back and forth with Sabbac.

Sabbac, played by Marwan Kenzari, is a 1940s villain who was modernized by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank during DCs New 52 reboot. He is often portrayed as an associate of Black Adams, so it will be interesting to see what treatment he receives in the story.

Black Adam, starring Sarah Shahi and Mo Amer (star of the critically acclaimed Netflix series Mo), is looking cooler and more exciting than ever in this new teaser, which will be released in theaters everywhere on October 21.
