In Set 7, the Treasure Dragon returned to Teamfight Tactics, providing a variety of resources for players, which was expanded upon in Set 7.5 with two additional Treasure Dragon options.

Each TFT set has a distinct mechanic or number of mechanics that make it different. Set Seven consisted of a total of three mechanics: the Dragon trait, Draconic Augments, and the Treasure Dragon. While Draconic Augments are an evolved version of Hextech Augments that were first offered in Set Six, the Treasure Dragon is a unique spin on an earlier Raptors PvE round.

In every TFT game, players will encounter a Treasure, Chaos, or Order Dragon at Stage 4-7. The Treasure Dragon gives players an arsenal that includes a wide assortment of consumables, from components and magnetic removers to completed items and gold.

In TFT or PvE rounds, players may reroll what is offered to them as many times as they want, for the cost of one gold per reroll. Players may choose all or reroll for different options. Treasure Dragons will appear in 40 percent of games. Order and Chaos Treasure Dragons will show up in 30 percent of games.

The purpose of the Treasure Dragon Armory is to provide players with a wide range of choices that can either assist them complete their comp or transition into a fresh late-game build. Players must decide whether or not to use the gold to gain level nine or to decrease for stabilization at level eight.

How do Set 7.5 Chaos and Order Treasure Dragon Armories Work?

The TFT design team has added two additional Treasure Dragon Armories to the set 7.5 Dragonlands Uncharted Realms, which will appear in around 60 percent of games played, 30 percent each.

The Order Treasure Dragon is a defensive weapon that allows players to select from an endless array of options, from Ornn artifacts to emblems, and even Target Dummies. It also includes the ability to pull Radiant items in conjunction with normal Treasure Dragon options.

Update: Patch 12.12 implemented system changes to the TFT Set Seven Treasure Dragon
