According to multiple sources, the world's most popular VALORANT player might leave the Sentinels at the end of the year.
TenZ will need to renew its affiliation with Sentinels in order to stay with the organization for the partnership league next year. Sentinels, along with other organizations, has been in discussions with tournament organizer and game developer Riot Games for months in order to secure a spot in the Americas league, which will begin in February, according to Dot Esports.
Sentinels will likely re-negotiate with TenZ if it receives a spot in the partnership league in December, although Riot has yet to choose the whole list of teams.
TenZ has joined the long list of players and coaches who will leave at the end of the year. All players will begin negotiations following the announcement of teams that will join Riot.
As previously reported by Dot Esports, partner teams will need to submit a roster to Riot in mid-October to allow the developers to review the logistics of transporting players to the location of their respective international league.
TenZ, along with Sentinels, has forged his reputation to become the most popular player in the game. According to Twitch Tracker, he has garnered an average viewership of 24,000 in the last three months.
