After the release of the Phantom Liberty expansion, CD Projekt is fiercely determined to keep Cyberpunk 2077 going, meaning the game will not be forgotten anytime soon.

The original release of the game was stuffed with many bugs and glitches, causing problems for most players. The titles have been gradually improved as the years have passed, and now the Cyberpunk developers are working to ensure that the new DLC will not suffer the same fate.

Fans of Cyberpunk 2077 were delighted with an announcement of a new DLC for the dystopian open-world game after two years of waiting.

Despite this being the only DLC, the designers want Phantom Liberty to be a must-see.

Executives from CD Projekt visited YouTube to talk about their half-yearly earnings, future projects, and giving fans a sneak peek at the Cyberpunk 2077 expansion.

As they presented tea on new plans, fans had more to be excited about.

Michael Nowakowski, CD Projekts' SVP of business development, said: "We decided to develop a major expansion for Cyberpunk that will leverage all of the new-gen console capabilities."

CD Projekt pledging that the Cyberpunk franchise is far from over, stating that there will be just one major expansion in the future. However, there will be more stuff in the future.

CD Projekt has been working on Cyberpunk 2077 Edgerunners since 2018, an anime series that the company has been focusing on since 2018. We certainly want to continue to expand on what has already been built, not just in a video game format, but Ill leave it here.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is expected to be released in 2023 by Dot Esports.
