Kiriko, a new Overwatch 2 hero, has been leaked ...

Overwatch 2 will be released on October 4 with fresh heroes, balancing changes, and other gameplay tweaks. Since weve already seen the unveil of Sojourn and Junker Queen earlier this year, we have been looking for more Overwatch content that would quench our thirst until the global launch in October.

According to @OverwatchNaeri, a prominent Overwatch fanatic, the next hero to visit Overwatch 2's battlefields will be curios fox support Kiriko.

Kiriko will be one of the first heroes to be available via the Season One Battle Pass.

If players purchase the Season One Premium Battle Pass, Kiriko will be immediately unlockable. If players avoid buying Battle Passes, Blizzard will also introduce a new system of free tracks in order to unlock the latest heroes.

Jon Spector, a Blizzard developer, explained the system further in a tweet: Addressing some incomplete info about our Overwatch 2 Battle Passwell be sharing all details ahead of launch, but want to confirm that new Overwatch 2 heroes will be available on the free track of the Battle Pass.

Kirikos abilities have been neglected by Blizzard.

Kiriko will likely have a vulpine appearance and movement speed buffing abilities that help the heroes close the gap. Still, Naeri revealed that Kiriko will likely be released with a legendary skin, Hinotori Kiriko.

Three new heroes will shake up the Overwatch 2 meta, give the game a fresh look, and, well, will give the game new toys to play with.
