NBA 2K23 is so close to being released, we can smell the leather on the ball.
Every day, 2K Games releases more information about the game. Last week, the developer demonstrated the lovely Dreamer Edition cover with J. Cole and presented Kevin Garnett and Tracy McGrady as guest stars in MyCareer. The company also revealed some of the top player ratings and even gave us a glimpse of the gameplay.

Does NBA 2K23 support crossplay?
NBA 2K23 will not allow crossplay of any kind, even when different generations of the same console are used by 2K Games.
Is NBA 2K23 a cross-platform progression option?
NBA 2K23 will allow for MyTeam and Shared VC Wallet cross-platform advancement within the same family, so PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, and Xbox One to Xbox Series X. MyTEAM points, tokens, cards, and progress will be transferred from an old-gen version to a current-gen version. The same applies to earned or purchased VC.
Which platforms will NBA 2K23 release on?
NBA 2K23 will be available on all relevant gaming platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch.
NBA 2K23 is available for both the old-gen and the current-gen consoles, including as an example, if you purchase it for the PlayStation 4. The same applies for Xbox.
If you wish, you may play the old-gen version of the game on current-gen consoles.
