MTG Arena September announcements: Full notes and updates ...

The Phyrexian assault on the Magic: The Gathering Multiverse is already underway, with the release of Dominaria United in MTG Arena as well as additional content for the Standard-legal set.

Wizards of the Coast announced dates for September events that support the Standard-legal set, as well as an Ajani and Sleeper Agent avatar that players may try out for a limited time following the digital release. MTG Arena Championship begins in September.

According to WotC, here are the MTG Arena notes for September.

Ajani limited-time MTG Arena avatar

From September 8 to 15, MTG Arena members may get a free Ajani and Sleeper Agent avatar. Changing the avatar is done via the Profile tab. Once the limited-time offer is over, the Ajani and Sleeper Agent avatar will be available for purchase within the store.

The Standard Metagame Challenge, like all new Standard-legal set releases, will take place from September 9 to 12. Featuring a format with the addition of DMU and four sets rotating out of Standard, the event will take place from September 9 to 12.

The MTG Arena Metagame Challenge is a best-of-three format, with one loss and up to seven victories, rewarded players with up to 5,000 gold and 30 DMU booster packs. There is a fee of 2,000 gold or 400 gems to participate in the event.
