The 2022 League of Legends Steel Valkyries event has gotten underway. There will be a new battle pass, a long list of new free and paid missions, and a whole stream of new token rewards for players to unlock.
Steel Valkyries 2022 runs from August 25 at 3pm CT until September 27 at 1:59am CT. All League missions run for the same duration.
Players will have until October 3rd at 3pm CT to redeem their rewards.
The Steel Valkyries' 2022 battle pass cost breakdown
The Steel Valkyries 2022 event pass is available in the League store for 1,650 RP. As always, the event pass is the finest bang-for-your-buck purchase. Simply purchasing the pass will automatically award players with four Steel Valkyries 2022 loot or 200 Steel Valkyries event tokens.
Purchase the season pass for League players will unlock three high-value mission lines, including 10 Pass Milestone missions, four Weekly Win missions, and the ever-popular Infinite Token mission.
The Steel Valkyries 2022 Pass Bundle includes everything from the event pass listed above, as well as the new Cyber Halo Janna skin, her player icon, and the matching loading screen border as a bonus.
Keep in mind that the Basic Cyber Halo Janna skin is only included in this bundle. To unlock the Prestige Edition version, you will need to redeem 2,000 event tokens. Consult with the missions below for advice on how to best use farm tokens.
The 1,650 RP event pass is ideal for players who have no interest in the Janna skin or who are on a budget, as it includes 14 bonus missions, a repeatable token farming quest, and access to many more rewards.
The 2,650 RP pass package for Janna mains and skin collectors is also a solid value. For just 1,000 more RP than the base pass, players receive a skin that costs 1,350 RP in the store, as well as the matching skin and loading screen border, which normally cost 250 tokens to unlock in the event shop.
If you are unsure whether to acquire the pass or the bundle, you may buy the pass first and then pay the 1,000 RP difference later if you decide to get the skin bundle. There is no price increase if you choose to go this route.
Infinite Token Mission
Pass owners who want to accumulate enough event tokens to unlock the Prestige Cyber Halo Janna skin will need to rely on the Infinite Token mission to supplement their token gains from other mission lines, such as the weekly win missions.
Players will earn 10 Steel Valkyries event tokens for every game played, whether win or lose.
The objective point rates are the following:

Every game played will reward players with points, but winning will certainly pay off.
A victory is considered a top-four finish in Teamfight Tactics, while a place between fifth and eighth is a loss.
The Co-op vs. AI queue can be helpful in cramming Milestones (listed below) and free-to-play missions near the end of an event, but it is otherwise a poor token farming technique due to its highly nerfed point rate.
Steel Valkyries Milestone missions list
The Milestone missions list lists some of the most valuable rewards handed out in any League battle pass event. This applies to the Steel Valkyries event.
Steel Valkyries 2022 Pass Icon, 30 Mythic Essence, three Masterwork Chests, a bonus Steel Valkyries loot orb, and other bonuses.
Each milestone mission is completed in a similar manner to the Infinite Token mission we discussed above. This means that each mission must earn a certain amount of objective points.

Steel Valkyries Weekly Win missions
The largest amount of event tokens players can unlock at one time in the Steel Valkyries 2022 event are found within the Weekly Win missions. These are four missions that are activated every week during the event (and remain unlocked until the end of the event), giving a large lump sum of tokens for accumulating 1,000 objective points.
