For many individuals, GTA 6 remains the number one and most-anticipated game in all of games, and while we await the first official information, reputable leaker Tom Henderson expects it to be "inevitably delayed."
Grand Theft Auto 6 by Rockstar Games is arguably the most anticipated game in history, and this trend is only going to grow with every new detail revealed.
The massive leak back in September 2022 left the world in shock as nearly 100 individual leaked videos came to light, removing the curtain a bit on the game's hidden development.
GTA 6 is absolutely inevitable, but according to well-known video game leaker Tom Henderson, it isn't as inevitable as a significant delay to the game that will keep hungry enthusiasts waiting longer for their lunch.
Henderson's leaks and knowledge continue to provide useful information regarding many upcoming titles.
The leaker discussed the state of GTA 6 on January 23, 2023, discussing when the game will be finally revealed and how long before we can expect to see it.
“Everyone keeps enquiring me when GTA 6 will be revealed, and I don’t know. According to previous reports, a reveal trailer would be the last week of October 2023 or the first week of November 2023 before Take-Two's Q2 2024 earnings call,” Henderson said.
He also commented on the thread that: "A release for 2024 will probably be given, but it will be undoubtedly postponed until 2025."
According to Henderson, the game will take several months to get our first official look at GTA 6, likely ahead of the release date, and even then, the game will be pushed back even further to accommodate the new generation of gamers.
Henderson's comments suggest that Rockstar would like to wait a bit longer for more PlayStation5 and Xbox Series X|S owners to be able to purchase the game. That is only speculative, and we'll just have to wait and see what Rockstar will do.
