Here's all you need to know about Fortnite's ranged weapon.
Fortnite has a huge assortment of weapons and items to use in the game, including a number of firearms and other unique items, such as the Shockwave Hammer and the Big Bush Bomb.
Sometimes, Fortnite's Weekly Quests will consist of using or not using certain weapon types, leaving some to wonder what makes a "Ranged Weapon?"
While on foot, players must eliminate a player who has no ranged weapons in their inventory in Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 1 Week 8 Quests. Here's what your ranged weapons should be for the Quest.
What is the definition of a Fortnite ranged weapon?
Fortnite's ranged weapon is a firearm that does damage from range. That includes any weapon that shoots bullets or bullets.
This ranged weapon category does not include melee weapons such as the Shockwave Hammer and a player's Pickaxe or Harvesting Tool.
Fortnite's simplest way to get rid of an adversary with no ranged weapons
When players eliminate a player, they must remove all weapons and projectile weapons from their inventory. The best way to do this is to knock an opponent off with whatever weapon they choose, then eliminate all of their ranged weapons and melee the opponent until they’re eliminated.
If for some reason this does not work with the Shockwave Hammer, simply pull out your Pickaxe and do it the old-fashioned way. This should complete your Quest and give you an overview of what is considered a ranged weapon in Fortnite.
