We all love a good city-building game, and mining is rampant, so why is it taking so long for anyone to combine the two? Well, here's some good news for enthusiasts of architecture and spelunking everywhere. The Station, the creator of SteamWorld Build, is working on a fantastic new entry into the SteamWorld franchise.
The upcoming SteamWorld Build, described as "Anno meets Dungeon Keeper," includes all of the previous SteamWorld titles like Dig, Heist, and Quest. This time, though, players control a town packed with SteamBots, seeking to transform a barren wasteland into a bustling city as you manage resources and complete tasks.
SteamWorld Build is a game that involves balancing resources and goals from both overground and underground to create the robot city of your dreams. The Station, the developer, has released the first footage from the SteamWorld Telegraph show and has confirmed that the game will be released on Nintendo Switch.
The release date for SteamWorld's Build is being rumored.
SteamWorld Build is expected to be released on Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4 and Playstation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X, and PC. Currently, the SteamWorld Build release date has a vague window of "later in 2023," although fans can expect to learn more about the game soon.
