This defending champion died once during the first week of the 2023 LEC Winter Split ...

The first week of the 2023 LEC Winter Split has come to an end, and one player has achieved a staggering feat.

Markos "Comp" Stamkopoulos, KOI's defending champion, died only once in his first three seasons on the field, despite his team falling 2-1 against Fnatic on January 23. Quite surprisingly, he didn't die in KOI's victory against Excel Esports.

According to League of Legends stat site Oracle's Elixir, comp reigns supreme in the 2023 LEC Winter Split. After the first week of competition, he boasts a 26 KDA after securing 12 kills and 14 assists in total.

Steven "Hans Sama" Liv and Team BDS' Ju "Crownie" Marui each had two fatalities, while G2's marksmen had 20 kills. Crownie had 15.

Comp has been making a name for himself as one of the best AD carries in Europe. After Rogue defeated G2 3-0, he was awarded the MVP award for his 2022 LEC Summer Playoffs final performance.

This Saturday, January 28, the 2023 LEC Winter Split will resume.
