The Self Revives in Warzone 2 are intended to keep you in the game longer, but players find it annoying when their opponents use them to cheat death, and they are calling for a change in Season 2.
After entering Warzone 2, you'll face fierce competition from enemy players, and Self Revives are extremely useful tools that you can use to stay alive after discovering cover from gunfire.
Self Revives are overpowered, and players want a simple change in Warzone 2 Season 2.
'MortyCloneyt,' a Reddit user, posted a clip of their gameplay in the Warzone 2 subreddit, showing them eliminating an enemy before looting them for several Self-Revives. Another enemy shot the player down.
This revealed how easy this item makes it to escape death, and the player wrote: “This is why a lot of people hate Self Revives.”
Players have accused the item of being overpowered for the first time in the Season 1 Reloaded update. The Warzone 2 developers attempted to remediate this by adding a Self Revive nerf.
Self Revives continues to be a controversial topic in the game, and many of the commenters expressed their hope that Season 2 will address this issue. Another player added: “No one should be able to do this.”
Several players suggested that the developers reduce the amount of Self Revives you can carry in a single match. One of the commenters suggested: "It's a fairly straightforward solution."
Another suggestion is that rather than restricting the number of Self Revives you may keep in your bag, the developers should make it so that you may not have to get them in succession.
According to one player, a cooldown for repeated use might be beneficial. It's possible to keep multiple copies for a while, or keep them for a friend.
If the developers make any significant changes to Self Revives in Warzone 2 Season 2, we'll be sure to inform you.
