The Warzone 2 developers have confirmed that the battle royale's economy will undergo a significant change in Season 2, with more lootable cash and balanced buy station prices.
The Season 2 update was postponed from February 1 to February 15. Due to the growing dissatisfaction over the game's launch, Warzone 2's developers have committed to a number of significant changes.
The developers have begun to tease some of the changes that Warzone 2 players might expect. They already revealed that significant changes would affect the Gulag and looting experience, but that's not all.
Cash increase & price decrease in Warzone 2 Season 2
Season 2 players can expect a change in the game's economy, according to the devs on January 23, adding that "there's now more lootable cash available in Battle Royale," and prices are being more balanced to give you more bang for your buck.
The two-pronged approach should help to stabilize the Warzone 2 economy. Players will have a better time accumulating cash, but the value of that cash will increase because to lower prices at buy stations.
Players in Warzone 2 have had a difficult time accumulating money up till this point. Many players were forced to go to hidden loot locations and hidden caches to get enough money.
The developers had previously altered the price of Loadout Weapons, allowing players to get their hands on their favorite weapons.
Players should pay more cash and prefer lower buy station costs, but there have also been calls to limit the number of Self Revives and Killstreaks that can be purchased.
It'll be interesting to see how the developers balance this Warzone 2 economy shift with a decrease in self-reve and Killstreak frequency that players have been requesting.
