GTA 6 is still the number one and most-anticipated game in many circles, and while we await official information, respected leaker Tom Henderson expects it to be "inevitably delayed."
Grand Theft Auto 6 from Rockstar Games is without doubt the most anticipated game in history, and this is only going to increase with every minute detail.
The massive leak back in September 2022 left the world in shock as nearly 100 individual leaked videos came to light, revealing a little more about the game's secret development.
GTA 6 is inevitable, but it's not as inevitable as a massive delay in the game that will keep hungry people waiting longer for their food, according to noted video game leaker Tom Henderson.
Henderson's leaks and knowledge continue to provide valuable information regarding many upcoming titles, now running the website and Twitter page Insider Gaming.
The leaker commented on the condition of GTA 6 on January 23, 2023, mentioning when the game will be finally revealed and how long we can expect to see it.
“Everyone keeps asking me when GTA 6 will be revealed, and I don’t know.” Henderson said in a tweet. According to previous reports, a reveal trailer would be the last week of October 2023 or the first week of November 2023 before Take-Two's Q2 2024 earnings call.
He also commented on this in a thread: "A release in 2024 will most likely be given and then inevitably delayed until 2025."
According to Henderson, it will take months until we get our first official look at GTA 6, possibly alongside a release date, and even then, the game will be reintroduced even more to accommodate the younger generation of gamers.
Henderson's remarks suggest that Rockstar would rather wait a while longer for more PS5 and Xbox Series X|S owners to be able to purchase the game. That is only speculative, so we'll just have to wait and see what Rockstar does.
