In the middle of BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022, Ninjas in Pyjamas' CS:GO division has been forced to make a roster change.

Hampus "hampus" Poser had to withdraw from the team due to "unforeseen personal circumstances," and will be replaced by Young Ninjas' Max "maxster" Jansson.

The organization stated that it will review the situation and provide feedback before the start of the IEM Katowice 2023 Play-In stage, which begins on January 31. In the meantime, maxster will most likely be sub-in for the rest of the BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022 games, with the first against Natus Vincere taking place today.

maxster will make his debut in an S-tier tournament in March 2022. Since then, he has helped the Young Ninjas team win WePlay Academy League Season six, as well as competing during Young Ninjas' second-place finishes at Svenska Elitserien Spring and Fall.

NIP have reclaimed a spot in the group final today at 8am CT against NAVI in the BLAST Premier series. The squad will play at least one more series depending on their performance.
