Michelle Yeoh plays a Chinese-American immigrant who discovers she must protect the multiverse through her interactions with other parallel universe versions of herself, according to the actor earlier today, January 24.

Curtis, who plays Deirdre Beaubeirdre, an IRS inspector who is on the run for Yeoh's Evelyn Quan Wang, posted several Instagram posts chronicling her reactions to Everything Everywhere All At Once, including one of her oldest pals coming to her door, then welcoming her husband when she learned that she was nominated for her first-ever Oscar alongside Stephanie Hsu for Best Actress in a Leading Role.

When friends and fans received the news, despite the recent controversy surrounding Curtis and a supposedly nude photo of a kid.

The 2023 Oscar ceremony will take place on March 12, 2023, at 8:00 pm EDT.
