Do Buddy Daddies have a manga?

Do Buddy Daddies have a manga? ...

Buddy Daddies is P.A. Works' latest original anime project, depicting the daily lives of Rei Suwa and Kazuki Kurusu, two assassins raising a child together, which has been well-received by the anime community.

Buddy Daddies is defying the hype of Spy x Family, a popular series with a similar premise of two individuals with dangerous jobs becoming a family without blood. Sadly, unlike many other anime out there, it is not based on a manga, nor is there a manga adaptation in the works for the time being.

What is the origin of Buddy Daddies?

Mitsuhito Tsuji and Toba Yosuke, the two anime directors who produced the program, identified the 1987 sitcom Full House and the 2019 film Polar as sources of inspiration, although Tsuji had children.

The parenting experiences of some of the anime's writers were also helpful as the concept was developed. Anyone who raises a child for the first time will face challenges, especially when it comes to balancing a work life, which led the producers to ask their employees to include many typical parenting moments in Buddy Daddies.

Is Buddy Daddies a gay anime?

Buddy Daddies was initially conceived of as a queer version of Spy x Family when it was first announced online. This does not appear to be the case anymore, as the two main characters are friends and co-workers who live together, but for the time being, we can't exclude the possibility of them becoming a couple in the future.

The film, on the other hand, described the story as a "buddy thing," so it's unclear whether the main characters' friendship will evolve into something more or not. The only way to find out is to keep watching.

On Crunchyroll, new Buddy Daddies episodes will be released every Friday.
