Pokmon Go dataminers uncover Pokmon contests, potentially affecting Pokmon size ...

Pokeminers, a Pokémon Go datamining group, has been working on the latest APK, which appeared to be laden with flaws that will be fixed when Niantic officially releases the update. One of the biggest changes the team noticed is the possibility of Pokémon contests, which might make a Pokémon's height and size a factor rather than a notification after you catch it.

The team did not discover how this system would work, but they have a general outline, leaving plenty to infer, given how previous systems worked in Pokémon Go.

Giovanni's next shadow legendary Pokémon is brought to Pokémon Go's Crackling Voltage event, which fans are hesitantly anticipating.

Again, we don't know exactly how all of this will work, but based on the code, there may be many different types of Pokémon contests. These contests may be conducted every day, every few days, or only once during a season. Thus, having a wide variety of Pokémon will be beneficial to winning several contests.

Before the winner is announced, a Pokémon contest will last for a set amount of time. Supposedly, another player must come in and submit one of their Pokémon in an attempt to beat your Pokémon's stats. These are not traditional battles, but rather focused on appearance statistics, such as size and weight.

Outside of traditional battles, Pokémon Go players might have fun, interactive activities to participate in. Take everything here with a grain of salt.
