Yellowstone's world as a whole is filled with the pleasure of making things pretty darn epic. That's what they've done with the season 4 and season 5 premieres; wouldn't it be fair to expect something similar as we move forward? We tend to agree.
Let's just say that the Kevin Costner series might make a two-episode comeback? Is there a chance that they may provide you both episode 9 and episode 10 at once?

The reason for doing this for a very simple reason is quite simple: It's an opportunity for them to get a lot of content almost immediately! It's a great way to get a lot of attention across the board.
There's a good reason why they won't go this route: There are just six episodes left until the current season is over, and while we're certain that a Yellowstone season 6 will be ordered, it may not be for a very long time. What do you do in the interim here? It's a shame for them to tell six episodes over five weeks, but they could make this a six-week program.
With this in mind, a two-hour return for the series this summer is unlikely... but nonetheless feasible based on previous history. The Paramount Network has yet to make a decision about whether or not to make a return in the spring; however, the remaining season 5 episodes will still be filmed!
