Season 2 of Warzone 2 Revamps Cash Economy & Buy Stations

Season 2 of Warzone 2 Revamps Cash Economy & Buy Stations ...

The Cash Economy and Buy Stations in Al Mazrah will be completely overhauled in Warzone 2 Season 2. These improvements will help players acquire items more easily and improve their overall quality of life.

Players feel the cash distribution unfair to players returning from the Gulag as it leaves them with no equipment and little resources to acquire additional equipment.

With the addition to the Cash Economy and Buy Stations in Warzone 2 Season 2, Infinity Ward intends to address these issues.

Season 2 of Warzone 2 Improves Cash Economy

Season 2 of Warzone will reduce the amount of cash earned from contracts and increase the base amount of cash found from ground loot to a minimum of $800 and Cash Registers to a minimum of $500.

This balance update aims to help Warzone 2 players obtain more consistent cash flow. Also, the way cash is found is changing. Cash will no longer be found in basic and legendary Supply Boxes.

Cash piles can be found at the following locations:

  • Ground Loot
  • Containers
  • White Stronghold Supply Boxes

The newly revamped Gulag will increase the cash reward and allow players to earn money from ground loot. This will increase players' survival chances when deployed from the Gulag.

Infinity Ward is also making a few changes to the Buy Stations in Al Mazrah to balance out these economic changes.

Season 2 of Warzone Revamps the Buy Station System

Season 2, Buy Stations spawn stations are still active across Al Mazrah, and players may purchase unlimited loadout drop markers.

Due to the new loadout drop mechanics coming to Warzone 2, primary weapons and loadout drop marksers will also incur a price decrease.

Loadout drops and killstreaks are expensive as it stands. Players must pay for loadout drops, according to the following:

  • Solos: $8,000
  • Duos: $16,000
  • Trios: $24,000
  • Quads: $32,000

The odds of regaining enough money from purchasing your loadout are slim once players enter the gulag late in the game.

After the first few opening minutes in a Warzone 2 match, cash becomes scarce. Most players know where to get most of the cash, and once the main POIs are hit, other locations will not have much left.

Some players find the end game frustrating. If you can bring back your teammates, but they can't afford to buy a weapon or loadout, then you can put them at a disadvantage.

Thankfully, these changes will address these issues and allow players to have a decent chance to regain resources and survive in Al Mazrah.

MW2 and Warzone 2 Season 2 will most likely be accepted by the community, pointing to a brighter future for Warzone 2.
