Activision has confirmed in a Community Update for Season 2 that Faction mission progress in the Warzone 2 DMZ mode would be reset when Season 2 launches on February 15, 2023.
Any progress you’ve made, whether or not you’ve completed each of the Factions, will be completely deleted.
This is because new missions will be added, giving those who have completed the previous missions something new to do.
Fans will not only lose their Faction mission progress, but all of their keys and contraband weapons as Season 2 ends.
If you want to complete all Season 1 DMZ Faction missions and earn every reward, you'll need to get a move on, as they'll be gone in a matter of weeks.
Is Faction Mission Progress Being Reset in the DMZ?
Yes, Faction Mission Progress is being completely reset in the Warzone 2 DMZ mode. This has been verified by several individuals, including Activision themselves and YouTuber Geeky Pastimes.
Once Season 2 ends, players will no longer be able to access the current Faction missions. They will also be unable to claim any of their rewards.
