This JUNG_E article contains spoilers.
JUNG_E, directed by Yeon Sang-ho, is a sci-fi drama set in a dystopian future where the Earth has been ravaged by climate change and is no longer habitable. Not every shelter is willing to accept their proposals, as humanity becomes engulfed in a civil conflict between the Allied Forces and the Adrian Republic.
JUNG_E isn't just about war games and intense CG battles. Sang-ho's latest film is about the ethical ethics of AI created for war and the commercialization of death. When little progress is made in the JUNG_E project, Kronoid decides to abandon their research in favor of a more lucrative commercial use.
JUNG_E's small cast includes actors from several different genres, including the director's most recent Netflix dark fantasy series Hellbound. The cast has also appeared in many other films, as well as wherever you can find them.
