Following Monday's episode of The Good Doctor, Shaun and Lea learned that they're expecting a boy! However, Lea had to endure not one, but two intensive surgeries.
The winter premiere began with a surprise time jump. Lea had not discovered she was expecting for three months before we saw her with her OB, who determined a small, thinning area on Lea's uterine wall. Later, a second procedure was required after a uterine artery became tied to scar tissue and failed to rupture.
On the good news front, there's another place...
Perez was just released from rehab on a probationary basis, under the supervision of senior resident Jordan. However, following their first encounter together, that was when Anne Dudek (aka "Cutthroat Bitch" Amber Volakis) became his mother to Gardner's syndrome patient Drew #StealthCasting.
Lim's spinal surgery was a success, and she's no longer paralyzed. She was back on her feet, using a cane and considering Clay's pre-op proposal at the start. She decided that she wasn't ready to marry, but she was ready to take the next step in their relationship. He said yes.
Morgan's IVF journey is well underway. Ex-boyfriend Park offered to drive Morgan to her implantation appointment, but she declined. She instead hired Dr. Glassman to serve as her chauffeur.
