On Tuesday morning, the 95th Academy Awards nominees were announced, and Everything Everywhere All at Once led the pack with 11 nominations, including a Best Picture nomination. Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Stephanie Hsu were also recognized in the acting categories, with Yeoh becoming the first Asian woman to receive a Best Actress nomination.
Angela Bassett's nomination in the Best Supporting Actress category made her the first actor from a Marvel film to be honored on Tuesday.
Tom Cruise was one of this year's notable acting snubs, failing to win a Best Actor nomination for Top Gun: Maverick (though the action sequel did win six awards overall, including for Best Picture). James Cameron, however, was left out of the Best Directing competition (for Avatar: The Way of Water) as were all female directors.
The Oscars, presented by Jimmy Kimmel and featuring the presentations of all 23 categories, will air on ABC on Sunday, March 12 at 8/7c. Scroll down to see the complete nominations list, then comment below with your thoughts.
