According to TVLine, when Superman & Lois returns for Season 3, the CW series will introduce yet another Lex Luthor, this time played by Michael Cudlitz of The Walking Dead.

Cudlitz's character is "known to the world as the visionary billionaire behind LexCorp," but secretly, the criminal underworld knows who Lex is: a violent psychopath who terrorizes anyone he crosses paths with. When Lex comes to the game this season, it's been years since he's dropped out of the public eye, and he's re-emerging passionate about retaliating against the two people he believes have wronged him — Superman and

Jon Cryer was the first actor to play Lex in the Arrowverse's Supergirl in 2019, before interacting with other superheroes in The CW's "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover event. Wolé Parks was initially assumed to be a different version of Lex in the Superman & Lois series premiere, but that proved to be a misdirect; he later became John Henry Irons.

The third season of Superman & Lois will premiere on Tuesday, March 14 at 8/7c.
