Tess Actress Annie Wersching, the last of us, has died ...

Annie Wersching, who played Tess in the original release of The Last of Us, has died at the age of 45. She was one of the few women who borrowed her voice and performance to produce the film.

Following the role of The Last of Us Tess, Wersching worked on Anthem.

Wersching was chosen to play Tassyn in BioWare's Anthem in 2019. That would be her final video game appearance. The following year, she was diagnosed with cancer.

"She's a private person by nature, and the diagnosis made her even more so," reads a GoFundMe page for her young children. "She wanted to protect her boys. She wanted to improve herself so she could continue to work."

Naughty Dog tweeted that the studio is "deeply saddened" to hear of Wersching's passing, and urged supporters to support her GoFundMe campaign for her children.

Wersching was a well-known actress outside of video games, having worked on 24, Bosch, and Timeless, among many other projects.

PlayStation LifeStyle extends its sincere condolences to Wersching's family, friends, and colleagues.
