When will Apex Legends Season 16 begin?
Season 16 of Apex Legends is set to begin on February 14, 2023, or Valentine's Day. Although Respawn has not made it clear, it is the date that Season 15 will end, and typically a new season will begin on the same day, after the Battle Pass expires.
The battle royale will also include the Date Night LTM to get players ready for the next season, which will begin on Valentine's Day.
If any additional developments occur, Respawn Entertainment might change the start date for Season 16. We'll be sure to notify you as soon as that happens.
Season 16 Apex Legends content: Leaks & rumors
Because of leaks and rumors, Respawn Entertainment hasn't officially announced anything about Season 16, but perhaps the ALGS London 2023 Playoffs will provide the perfect setting for an announcement.
First is the rumor that Season 16 will not include a new Legend, and reliable leaker ThordanSmash said he "genuinely believes" Respawn will not add a new character next season.
Season 16 might be more focused on Legend adjustments, as the devs indicated that the Horizon nerfs in Season 15 came out earlier than planned, and players noticed a shadow nerf for Seer.
Leaks suggest that World's Edge will be altered faster, and Care Packages will be removed more quickly. The 3v3 Arenas mode is expected to be phased out in the near future, with Control becoming the dominant non-battle royale mode.
Season 15 did not include any new weapons, so we would expect the leaked Nemesis Burst Assault Rifle or dual pistols, but Respawn might have something else in the works. We'd expect more cosmetic items, a new Heirloom, and the Anniversary Collection Event to be included in Season 16.
