Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 Reloaded: The Best CDL Moshpit Loadouts ...

Before Ranked Play arrives, the CDL Moshpit will offer Modern Warfare 2 players a competitive experience. Here are the best loadouts to use, along with Perks and Equipment.

After a brief delay, the CDL Moshpit playlist has moved onto Modern Warfare 2, giving players a competitive Call of Duty experience. While this is just a hint for experienced CoD players before the official Ranked Play for Modern Warfare 2 comes later in Season 2, it's a great way to get acquainted with CDL regulations.

You'll want to know which weapons, rewards, and equipment to use in Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 Reloaded.

  • Best CDL Moshpit Primary weapons
  • Best CDL Moshpit Secondary weapons
  • Best CDL Moshpit Lethals and Tacticals
  • Best CDL Moshpit Perks
  • Best CDL Moshpit Field Upgrades

Primary weapons in Modern Warfare 2 are the Moshpit.

Hardpoint, Control, and Search & Destroy are all featured in CDL Moshpit. Your role in your team of four will largely depend on your choice of Primary weapon.

Assault rifles are excellent for lowering lanes, while SMGs make you the ideal candidate to break into hardpoints.

Here are the top primary weapons for Modern Warfare 2's CDL Moshpit, despite the role you intend to play.

CDL Moshpit loadout for M4 Modern Warfare 2

  • Muzzle: Sakin Tread-40
  • Barrel: Hightower 20″ Barrel or 419mm EXF Barrel
  • Underbarrel: FSS Sharkfin 90
  • Rear Grip: Xten Grip or Phantom Grip
  • Stock: Demo Precision Elite Factory or Tempus P80 Strike Stock

The M4 is considered to be the finest Assault Rifle in Modern Warfare 2. It perfectly combines the firepower and range of a traditional Assault rifle with the speed and mobility of an SMG.

The Hightower 20′′ Barrel is more durable than the 419mm EXF Barrel, and it has very little downside.

The Phantom Grip will have less recoil control than the Xten Grip, but enhanced mobility and ADS speed in a similar vein.

The Tempus P80 Strike Stock, which provides increased mobility, or the Demo Precision Elite Factory, which offers superior control, will be available once again.

Between a quick and a quick one, or one that shoots exceptionally straight, it all boils down to the type of M4 loadout you wish to achieve. However, it can still be utilized in CDL Moshpit matches.

Moshpit loadout for TAQ-56 Modern Warfare 2

  • Muzzle: SAKIN Tread-40
  • Barrel: 17.5″ Tundra Pro Barrel
  • Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
  • Rear Grip: Demo Cleanshot Grip
  • Stock: TV Xline Pro

For those who prefer their long-range weapons to have a friendly recoil pattern, the TAQ-56 is a much easier Assault rifle to control.

Mobility and fast ADS speed are crucial in any competitive Modern Warfare 2 weapon. Therefore, the Demo Cleanshot Grip and TV Xline Pro will come in handy as they boost ADS speed among other mobility improvements.

The TAQ-56 has a slew of variations, and you may even swap out certain attachments. High Velocity ammunition, the TV Cardinal Stock, and the Comando Foregrip are some of the most popular attachments for the TAQ-56.

It's important to note that pros are required to use the 17.5′′ Tundra Pro Barrel as a Gentlemen's Agreement, but many CDL Moshpit enthusiasts agree that the weapon is superior without a Barrel attachment.

Loadout for Kastov-74u Modern Warfare 2 CDL Moshpit

  • Barrel: BR209 Barrel
  • Underbarrel: VX Pineapple
  • Rear Grip: True-Tac Grip
  • Stock: Otrezat Stock
  • Ammunition: 5.45 High Velocity

The Kastov-74u was quickly banned by CDL pros, but it remains in the official CDL ruleset. This means players may still use the powerful Assault rifle in CDL Moshpit.

The Kastov-74u is designed to be a SMG rather than an assault rifle. Close-range engagements are a forte of this weapon, and thanks to the True-Tac Grip, BR209 Barrel, and Otrezat Stock, you'll get your shots off first with incredible ADS speed.

STB 556 Modern Warfare 2 CDL Moshpit loadout

  • Underbarrel: Phase-3 Grip
  • Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity
  • Rear Grip: Q900 Grip
  • Stock: Bruen MX9 Stock
  • Comb: FTAC 11 Riser

The STB 556 is a new CDL weapon banned by CDL experts. With the following tools, you'll be able to maximize the TTK power of the STB 556 in CDL Moshpit.

Recoil control and mobility are equally important. The Phase-3 Grip, Bruen MX9 Stock, and FTAC 11 Riser will all enhance the STB's ADS speed and mobility.

Vaznev-9k Modern Warfare 2 CDL Moshpit loadout

  • Muzzle: Bruen Pendulum
  • Underbarrel: FSS Sharkfin 90
  • Stock: Otrezat Stock
  • Rear Grip: True-Tac Grip

The Vaznev is an exceptionally viable close-range weapon for SMG players to use in CDL Moshpit. Some of the weapon's aggressive kick is reduced by the Bruen Pendulum.

The Otrezat Stock will increase the weapon's ADS speed, which is the key to this fast-paced SMG loadout.

Due to the fact that a fifth might jeopardize some of the capabilities we're looking to improve with this weapon, we've only chosen four attachments.

Loadout for MCPR-300 Modern Warfare 2 CDL

  • Ammunition: .300 Mag High Velocity
  • Magazine: 5 Round Mag
  • Rear Grip: Cronen Cheetah Grip
  • Stock: FSS Merc Stock

The MCPR is one of the best Sniper Rifles to use in CDL Moshpit matches due to its damage potential. For starters, the 5 Round Mag will make the Sniper lighter, which will enable you to move faster.

For those difficult Search & Destroy moments where a split second can cost your life, the Cronen Cheetah Grip and FSS Merc Stock will enable you to ADS faster.

Loadout of L-AB 330 Modern Warfare 2 CDL

  • Barrel: 23.5” Fluted R-67 Barrel
  • Bolt: FSS ST87 Bolt
  • Stock: ZLR T70 Pad Extension Stock

The L-AB 330 is a great choice for Search & Destroy lovers. It's a quick and quick Sniper Rifle that's great for beginners.

Presently, CDL pros are split between both Snipers, with those like OpTic Texas' Indervir ‘iLLeY’ Dhaliwa advocating the L-AB 330.

Moshpit Secondary weapons in Best Modern Warfare 2

The list of secondary weapons for CDL Moshpit is a bit long, since Launchers are no longer allowed as secondary weapons for the competitive mode. While a Handgun may provide the advantage in some gunfights, Melee weapons allow you to move around the map faster.

Moshpit loadout in X12 Modern Warfare 2

  • Muzzle: XRK Ventor-900
  • Trigger Action: XRK Ligting Fire
  • Rear Grip: Cronen Lima-6

In Modern Warfare 2, the X12 is the preferred secondary weapon. For this reason, CDL professionals have gravitated towards the weapon.

The XRK Lighting Fire will enable you to get off consecutive shots quicker and highlight your trigger finger. Meanwhile, the Cronen Lima-6 and XRK Ventor-900 enhance ADS speed and recoil control.

Search & Destroy the CDL Moshpit Combat Knife

The Combat Knife is highly recommended for players who want to get to their preferred power positions in Search and Destroy as quickly as possible. The Knife will work in tandem with Double Time to drastically increase your Tactical Sprint duration.

Moshpit Lethals & Tacticals: The Best Modern Warfare 2 CDL

Modern Warfare 2 players will want to choose between a Frag Grenade or a Semtex in Search & Destroy due to their pinpoint accuracy on any given objective point.

CDL pros have banned the powerful Flash Grenade, but you can still use it in CDL Moshpit. Aside from a Flash Grenade, the Stun and Smoke Grenades can also be useful depending on the situation.

Moshpit Perks for Modern Warfare 2: Best

Ultimate Perks will not be included in competitive matches, as this runs over to CDL Moshpit. Therefore players will choose a combination of three Perks in the Modern Warfare 2 mode.

Double Time, Battle Hardened, and Bomb Squad are recommended for Hardpoint and Control, while Double Time should be equipped for S&D.

When it comes to the Bonus Perk slot, Fast Hands is the ideal choice. Focus can help with reducing weapon flinch on long-range AR loadouts.

Cold Blooded should only be equipped when an enemy player has earned a Killstreak.

Upgrades to the Moshpit Field in Modern Warfare 2

Players who want to upgrade to the CDL Moshpit mode in Modern Warfare 2 may choose between Dead Silence and the Trophy System as their field upgrades.

Two players will be running Dead Silence and two players will be running the Trophy System in a well-balanced team of four. This is especially true in respawn modes. More players may choose for Dead Silence in Search & Destroy due to the necessity of not giving your position away in the mode.
