According to a few recent Genshin Impact leaks, Bubu Pharmacy's CEO, Baizhu, will not be the healer that players anticipated him to be. Bubu Pharmacy is known as the finest pharmacy in Liyue, and much of Baizhu's dialogue so far has been medicine-related, so this does come as a surprise. However, he will, nevertheless, provide a different kind of help to the anime game's growing roster.
Baizhu will be a shielder rather than a healer if the leaks are correct. His elemental skill will generate a shield and it will have a hold version as well. Both Diona and Zhongli are likely to be the best shielders in the game for most team comps.
Baizhu has also been listed as a five-star Dendro catalyst user, so there shouldn't be any changes to his Vision like with Wanderer. His attacks and animations are snake-like or related to snakes, certainly having something to do with Changsheng, the snake that's always wrapped around Baizhu's neck, and the snakes often seen on medical symbols in real life.
Finally, one of his abilities allows him to convert a portion of his attack stat to elemental mastery, which seems appropriate for a Dendro character.
Baizhu appears to be a mix of support and sub-DPS. All of this information is subject to change, but another shielder might broaden our Dendro options even further, especially since the newly-released Yaoyao is a Dendro healer.
