The fourth update of Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak will add two elder dragons ...

Next week, Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak will include the ice dragon Velkhana and Valstrax, as well as the fiery comet dragon first introduced in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. The latest update for the fantasy cooperative game will be released on February 7, as well as the usual assortment of new cosmetics, quests, and more.

Velkhana first appeared in Monster Hunter World's Iceborne expansion, and like almost everything in that DLC, it was a formidable adversary. Velkhana was capable of instantly freezing its prey by manipulating the water particles in the ambient air, but it could also shatter the bodies of its foes at will.

Even if you know Iceborne's Velkhana, you'll still need to be on your toes this time around, according to Capcom – Velkhana certainly has some new tricks up its icy sleeves.

The other new addition to the elder dragon lineup coming in Title Update 4 is Risen Crimson Glow Valstrax, which Capcom claims is "one of the toughest challenges in Subreak to date."

Velkhana will be able to defeat her from master rank 10, but you'll need to have reached master rank 160 to defeat Risen Crimson Glow Valstrax.

The update increases the max level for Sunbreak's endgame, to 220, and risen elder dragons will appear in investigations starting at level 111.

The update also includes a slew of new paid cosmetics to browse, so if you don't want to spend a little extra cash to look good, you'll have new options to choose from.
