Dataminers have shared the stats ahead of the official release of Pokémon Go's next Dragon-type move, Breaking Swipe. The move would only be available to Rayquaza when it appears in five-star raids during the Primal Rumblings event, but it will be extended to other Dragon-types in the next few months.
With a Valentine's Day event featuring Mega Gardevoir and a Luvdisc Limited Research day, Pokémon Go has arrived.
Pokeminers' datamining team was the ones who discovered it, and it was shared in a recent tweet. During the Primal Rumblings event, Niantic announced that Breaking Swipe would be coming to the mobile game several days ago, when Rayquaza would return to five-star raids.
Breaking Swipe will do 50 damage to an opponent and only cost 35 energy in PvP, particularly for Rayquaza. Right now, Rayquaza only has one Dragon-type charged attack, Outrage, which does 110 damage and 60 damage. Breaking Swipe would also have a 100% chance to decrease an opponent's attack, making it a powerful debuff.
Many fans who attended the unveiling of these stats were interested in seeing how Breaking Swipe would perform, already knowing it would do 50 damage. Niantic will certainly pay attention with this move, and it appears like they will not disappoint with these moves. However, as expected, the Boomburst statistics do not appear to be ideal.

Fans of Pokémon Go are equally excited to see this move extended to other Dragon-type Pokémon. Dragon Claw is the other Dragon-type move that is quite comparable, making Breaking Swipe a far superior choice.
During the Primal Rumblings event, which will take place from February 22 to 24 ahead of the worldwide Pokémon Go Tour: Hoenn event, Rayquaza will arrive at five-star raids.
