The Overwatch 2 Season 3 update will keep the hero shooter content train moving along, and the developers have added a new map to the game.
Overwatch 2 Season 3 is coming to an end, as the team has already revealed quite a few different things to expect in the new season, from the return of the Credits currency to requested changes to the game's Ranked mode.
But one of Season 3's main draws was the prospect of a fresh map, particularly given that there will be no new Heroes this time.
The new map has finally been revealed, while we are still waiting on the official roadmap for Overwatch 2 Season 3.
The Antarctic Peninsula is the latest development on the block, and the Overwatch 2 team describes it as a "New Control map."
They've also included a few 'tips' to help players get acquainted with the map in typical Blizzard fashion.
“Dress accordingly. Always say hi to the penguins. Capture the point and win.”
The Antarctic Peninsula map as a whole truly embraces its title in the brief, but intriguing teaser video, which features ice, snow, frozen walls, and numerous miniature combat arenas. It looks like it will be a great experience.
Official tweet states that a complete teaser for Overwatch 2 Season 3 will be released on February 6, 2023, which is likely to give us a great overview of the season's content roadmap.
