Season 2 of Modern Warfare is nearing its conclusion, and the Call of Duty team has revealed that Infected will be included with the update.
The 15th of February is set to be a monumental day for Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2, as the Season 2 update will bring with it a lot of new content.
Modern Warfare 2 players will receive Ranked Play and a dedicated Hardcore playlist, but they couldn't help but notice the new content when compared to the new features coming to Warzone 2 in Season 2.
Although, this looks like things may change before the Season 2 update.
Season 2 of Modern Warfare will feature Infected.
Thanks to the Call of Duty team, Infected will be added to Modern Warfare 2 alongside the Season 2 update.
The developers released a slew of new information earlier this year, but it hasn't satisfied players who believe the update would not improve Modern Warfare 2.
Modern Warfare 2 players have complained about the absence of certain modes. Prior to the update, players have been particularly vocal about the absence of Gunfight, Gun Game, and Infected.
The developers seem to have taken the community's reaction too lightly, as they have confirmed that Infected will arrive on February 15.
The news has been met with a chorus of Ws from players in the replies. As one player put it, the wait is now over: "Finally I've been waiting for infected since the launch."
While the response to Season 2 of Infected in Modern Warfare has been generally positive, some players have kept reminding the developers that they want more party modes to be added to the game: "We want gun game too."
Season 2 of Modern Warfare 2 will be waited to see if other game modes will be included, but it's clear that players are looking for greater variety.
