The latest trailer for the MCU's next film, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, highlighted Kang the Conqueror's previous interactions with the Avengers.
In Ant-Man 3, Kang is set to make his biggest appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date, finally revealing the prime "warrior" Variant that will become the Avengers' next big bad. Yet the general public hasn't discovered one remarkable moment for the past few months.
Kang hinted at his already-existing reign of terror in the Ant-Man 3 teasers that premiered exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con and the D23 Fan Expo, before asking Scott Lang, "Have I killed you before?"
This moment has eluded the general public since Summer 2022, leaving many to wonder if and when it would be presented to the rest of the world. It's finally come.
Kang/Avengers Moment in Ant-Man 3 Spot
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania has released a 30-second TV commercial highlighting Scott Lang's next conflict with Kang the Conqueror from Marvel Studios.
In Ant-Man 3, Kang's Reign Begins
It's no surprise to see that Ant-Man 3 will be mentioned more than once, especially after Scott Lang helped formulate the strategy to save half of humanity in Avengers: Endgame.
Previous trailers had already highlighted these Avengers ties, but this new look into the film delivers on the Kang line that has made headlines for such a long time.
Given Kang's capacity to exist in an infinite number of places across space and time, this film is likely to recapture some of his previous interactions with other Avengers Variants throughout his travels. This will allow him to become an even greater threat to Earth's Mightiest Heroes than his predecessor Thanos, giving him more than one opportunity to show his strength against the Marvel Cinematic Universe's core cast of actors.
This might be one of the few times this Avengers-related line is shown in promotional footage, although it's a moment that fans will want to see in full context.
Quantumania will be released in cinemas on Friday, February 17.
