Nintendo Direct is expected to be held next week

Nintendo Direct is expected to be held next week ...

The next Nintendo Direct will be scheduled for next week, according to Giant Bomb's Jeff Grubb, who has provided adequate air dates for previous Nintendo Directs. It's expected to take place on February 6.

Grubb says of his Last of the Nintendogs podcast, "Everything I'm hearing, and it's all sort of reiterating it, it continues to be the week of February 6. Over and over again, every little detail I get is, basically, that a week from now we should begin hearing about all this stuff."

However, when we can expect it during that week, it's still a mystery. "I think it's probably late in the week," Grubb said, "but yeah I think it's going to happen pretty soon, and I wouldn't be surprised if all of these indicators are right."

The Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp eShop update is mentioned as recently as he announces that the indefinitely-delayed tactics game is on its way. Nintendo requires a release date for everything except via Twitter.

Despite all of the rumors, Grubb claims that he cannot guarantee it, and that rumors are always risky business. Many times in the past, we've anticipated Wind Waker Switch or Twilight Princess Switch ports. Things seldom happen, no matter how loud the rumors.

Keep your eyes open for more Nintendo Direct in February 2023, but don't hold any high hopes, lest you risk disappointment. Also, check out Nintendo's E3 2023 absence or Nintendo Switch production increases.
