Ice storms have again wreaked havoc on the state of Texas, and following One True King's "shareholders meeting" event at the WePlay studio in Los Angeles earlier this week, members of the organization had a tough time getting home.
The majority of members of the organization live in Texas, and flights to the state were canceled due to poor weather, leaving many of them in somewhat stressful situations following the event.
Sodapoppin, Nick Polom, and Malena all have close connections to well-known streamers Ludwig and QTCinderella, who live just where the group was caught.
Soda and Polom informed followers on Twitter that they were stuck in Los Angeles, and it wasn't long before they were hooked up with rooms at Ludwig's place.
“Everything is fucking falling apart. It is agony,” Sodapoppin said. Fortunately, QT has been fantastic. She put all of our sheets in the washing, and she placed all of our sheets on all of our beds.
Another OTK co-owner, Asmongold, was unable to contact his elderly father, who did not have electricity.
Even though Asmon was unable to return to work late yesterday, he updated followers to confirm that his father was okay after a member of his family checked in to check in to ensure his safety. While Asmon said that power should be restored tomorrow, it is unclear when he will return to his usual schedule.
