Warning: There will be light spoilers for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
After a lengthy 82 days since its theatrical release, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever can now be streamed from the comfort of one's own home, with the Phase's final film offering some of the franchise's most powerful and powerful moments.
Indeed, the film was fantastically suited to be Phase Four's final piece, with its exploration of loss and acceptance in particular providing for a tear-jerking conclusion that we all will soon move on from once Phase Five begins in a matter of weeks.
Prince T'Challa's decision to feature an almost entirely self-contained mid-credits scene was also contributing to its sense of completeness, all without a post-credits sequence. Those of us who witnessed the mid-credits sequence in theaters may have since recovered from the damage suffered to our tear ducts, but now that Wakanda Forever has found a wider audience, he has a whole new set of heartstrings to tug on.
Shuri met Toussaint, the nephew of Nakia and the late Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa, whom Nakia has secretly raised in Haiti, in a post-credits scene, in which Shuri learned that Toussaint is only his Haitian name; the boy's Wakandan name, poetically speaking, is T'Challa.
This tribute to one of the most popular MCU actors and characters was enough for audiences everywhere to imitate the sobs that came out of Shuri during that moment, and it appears to be happening all over again after the Disney Plus release.
On Disney Plus, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is available for viewing.
