What is the history of the El Dorado treasure from Season 3 of Outer Banks? ...

Outer Banks' third season is set to be bigger than ever before, as treasure-hunting youngsters seek for the mythical city of El Dorado.

The Pogues (the poor kids) have become amateur treasure hunters while looking for John B's (Chase Stokes) father, who was somehow linked to the royal merchant's treasure, which has sparked a lot of conflict throughout the series.

Big John (Charles Halford) is alive and well in Barbados, and he promises to assist Carla Limbrey in discovering the Cross of Santa Domingo's holy shroud if she will assist her in finding his son. Meanwhile, the gang is on a deserted island called Poguelandia, which they have explored extensively.

The Pogues go searching for El Dorado, the City of Gold, after being covered in gold dust during the 16th century. The tribe tossed gold and jewels into the lake to appease the gods.

The crew from Kildare Island in North Carolina will soon embark on a journey through the deep jungles of South America in search of the mysterious city of El Dorado. It's very probable that they'll find it, but most likely they're going to find it in a haystack. One thing's for sure, they will face danger while embarking on the epic adventure of a lifetime.

Season three of Netflix will be available on February 23, 2023.
