Nemesis AR from Apex Legends is explained in this video: gameplay, charge mechanism, ammunition type ...

Apex Legends may have a new monarch rising up against the Flatline and the R-301. Season 16 will introduce the Nemesis assault rifle, the game's first new weapon in over a year. And this new contender is bringing plenty of novelty and plenty of firepower.

The Nemesis is a game changer in many different ways. It's not only the first new weapon since the C.A.R. in season 11, but it's also the first new weapon to use energy ammo since the Volt entered the game in season six—and the first energy AR in Apex since the Havoc was released in March 2019.

The Nemesis is a solid, reliable addition to the Apex arsenal. Players who like burst-fire weapons will find it a pleasure to hold the trigger. Players who don't usually gravitate toward the Hemlok or the Prowler may get a taste for the Nemesis due to its automatic trigger, making it a comfortable burst weapon.

The Nemesis's amazing damage potential is certain to make it a weapon you'll want to acquire without pinging it for your squad (we've all done that). Here's what to look out for in the Nemesis burst AR in Apex.

In Apex Legends, how does the Nemesis work?

The Nemesis is the latest addition to Apex's small pool of burst-fire weapons thanks to its four-round burst.

While firing the Nemesis, you build up a charge that reduces the delay between bursts, significantly improving the Nemesis' fire rate, according to lead weapon designer Eric Canavese ahead of season 16.

According to Canavese, the charge doesn't fade too quickly. Players should have enough time to recharge or reposition a bit before the charge decays, meaning they'll have a Nemesis that's fully prepared to face their foes.
