At this time, there is no way to become a pirate in Pixel Piece. This quest is currently bugged, indicating that the quest to become a pirate does not work correctly. You will not be able to become a true pirate until this issue is addressed.
The issue will likely remain until a patch or update is released to fix it. Once the developer has released a hotfix, the issue should be resolved, and you may continue to quest to become a pirate. You can still participate and play the game as if you were a pirate, but you will not have the title or sea cred.
